LOST PIZZA IS NEWEST HDL SPONSOR
I am proud to announce that LOST PIZZA COMPANY at 2855 Poplar Avenue, has signed on to be a contributing sponsor to the HDL Men’s Baseball League in 2015. The LOST PIZZA restaurant is less than a mile away from Tobey Park and is inviting HDL members to drop by when you are in the area to try out their delicious menu items.
Manager/Operator, Will McPherson met HDL player, Drew Russell one day at the restaurant and Drew proceeded to tell Mr. McPherson how great the HDL is for Baseball lovers. Drew’s enthusiasm for the HDL was infectious as Will McPherson was openly impressed with what he heard. So a few days ago, HDL President, Larry Rutledge dropped in to meet Will McPherson and discuss further the details to become a contributing HDL Sponsor.
Will is excited about the opportunity to meet HDL players and plans to drop by the ball park to see what the HDL Experience is all about. Will admitted to playing Baseball in High School where he played the outfield and was a team leader. So Will was extended an open invitation to consider coming out to Tobey to see if playing in the HDL is something he can work into his busy schedule. Will said, “I could probably make a lot of the Sunday games but Friday nights would be doubtful since Friday’s is one of the busiest days of the week for Pizza restaurants.” Will was told there are several HDL players who have work conflicts but they play for a team when they can.
