ABOUT THE HDL

The HDL is an adult over 30 baseball league for Memphis area baseball enthusiasts. In 2017, the league will play their 80^th season. Each season runs from early April to October every year.

All games are played at Memphis area baseball fields, mostly Tobey Field. When possible, the championship playoffs have been played at Autozone Park, home of the AAA minor league Memphis Redbirds or FedEx Field at University of Memphis.

The level of play is competitive though not professional. Each individual player desires to meet their personal expectations. Though player’s ability may not always meet expectations, the love of the game of baseball is the common bond that brings these men out week after week, year after year to play the game.
